GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE HOTEL STAY BOOKINGS

The information included on the website may be modified without notice. The conditions defined below apply to hotel stay bookings.

1. Contract

1.1. In the event of difficulty, the services offered may be booked by phone on :

The contract is validated when you have been given a booking number.

2. Booking

2.1. Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you when you have filled in and validated the online registration form.

3. Online Booking Payment Terms

3.1. Joint liability: Any person booking on behalf of others is jointly and severally liable for the payment of the entire price of the stay.

3.2. Payment methods
Your credit card references are essential to guarantee your booking. Your card will not be debited. You will pay for your stay at the hotel.

- SAPHIRESA reserves the right to consider your booking cancelled if any fault is found with the credit card reference transmitted for payment (incorrect number, lack of provision or others).

3.3. Guarantee Methods: The bank card information transmitted for your booking is protected by an approved, encrypted and secured system. All bookings must be guaranteed by bank card :
- Visa
- Eurocard/MasterCard
- American Express
- Diners Club
In the event of bookings made by phone or fax, bank or mail transfers and postal money orders will only be accepted if they arrive 5 working days before your arrival at the hotel.

3.4. SAPHIRESA is not responsible for costs relating to any bank transfer transaction costs that may arise from exchange rate variations or other events.

4. Price Modifications
4.1. The prices mentioned on the website are applicable from the time of publication and are expressed in Euros, including tax and VAT.

4.2. The prices have been determined in terms of current economic conditions and the competition. These prices are only subject to modification in the event of the booking made being partially or fully changed by you.

5. Booking Modifications

5.1. Online bookings made on the website may be modified with SAPHIRESA by phone only (Tel.: +33 1.45.78.93.52) and must be confirmed in writing (fax, email or post). A change will be considered to have been made in a booking in the following cases :
- extension or shortening of the duration of the stay.
- change of arrival or departure date.
- change in room type.

5.2. The price of a stay may increase following modifications requested by you and accepted by us. In this event, the extra amount may be debited directly (no later than 24 hours before your arrival date) by means of the Bank Card details given to us at the time of booking, which represent a debiting authorisation from you.

5.3. Any change requested outside the indicated periods will amount to a cancellation and will give rise to cancellation costs.

5.4. In case of unavailability of the hotel following the confirmation of the booking, the responsability of Saphiresa canno tbe engaged. In case of change of the locations of the booking, the hotel is taking in charge alone the costs generated by the incident, particularly the transfert charges.

6. Partial or Total Cancellation by the Client

Online bookings made on the Website cannot be cancelled on the Website.

Any booking cancellation must be communicated immediately by phone to SAPHIRESA (Tel.: +33 1.45.78.93.52) and must be confirmed in writing (fax, email or post). The cancellation sending date, which is established by the post mark, it taken into consideration for the calculation of cancellation expenses.

- For cancellations made within the stipulated periods (D-7, working days): No cancellation charge.
- For cancellations made from D-6 (working days) up to D-3 (working day at 12.00 noon local time):
Closing costs will amount to 15 euros per room reserved. This amount will be debited from your credit card.
- Cancellations made from D-2 (working day, at 12.00 noon local time) up to D-D: will be considered as no show and the full amount applying to the 1st night (one night of the reservation) will be charged. This amount will be debited from your credit card.

Cancellation costs will be settled in full immediately, by means of the bank card details transmitted at the time of booking, which represent a debiting authorisation from you. In the event of cancellation of the entire booking, these costs will be deducted from any amounts already paid. Where relevant, refunds of services paid in advance will be made in euros.

SAPHIRESA shall not be held responsible for exchange rate or interbank cost variations between the time of booking and of cancellation.

7. Responsibility

SAPHIRESA is responsible to you by rights for fulfilling its contractual obligations properly. However, SAPHIRESA may be exonerated from all or part of its responsibility if it presents proof that breach or incorrect execution of the contract is attributable either to you or to an unforeseeable and insurmountable fact pertaining to a third party unrelated to providing the services described in the contract, or to an act of God.

8. Complaints

8.1. Complaints arising during your stay must be made in writing at the hotel so as to constitute proof for the host and must be sent by fax, email or post to Saphirésa. An amicable solution will be proposed to you immediately.
8.2. Complaints that have not been raised at the hotel and therefore have not been solved in the above manner may be communicated by registered letter sent to SAPHIRESA 53, rue d'Hauteville 75010 PARIS no longer than 8 days following your stay. This letter must specify the date of the stay and the booking number.

9. Personal Information

Pursuant to the Information Technology and Liberties law of January 6th 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and object to personal information concerning you. This right can be exerted by writing to our Marketing Department at the following address: SAPHIRESA 53, rue d'Hauteville 75010 PARIS, indicating your surname, first name and address. Any relation between the hotels listed on the Website www.saphiresa.com and its clients is governed by French law.

11. Industrial Property Rights

Persons using the website www.saphiresa.com have no right to use the denominations, signs, emblems, logos or brand names such as www.saphiresa.com, or the copyright work of the company in any context or situation whatsoever, and particularly for advertising or promotional purposes.

You may not include the services provided by us in any flat rate, batch or group of services that offer services that we consider liable to be to the detriment of SAPHIRESA’s image and, in particular, our services shall not be offered as any kind of promotional gift, as a bonus or in a raffle .
